Most communication around entrepreneurship celebrates success. It focuses on growth, milestones, and winning moments. But this creates a one-dimensional narrative, far removed from the reality entrepreneurs actually live every day.

BRD wanted to connect with entrepreneurs in a more honest way, while positioning itself as a bank that truly understands their journey. The challenge was to stand out in a category full of predictable “success stories” and build credibility with a demanding audience.

Challenge

We built the campaign around a simple insight: success is visible, but failure is formative. It’s where resilience, decision-making, and real learning happen.

We worked with real entrepreneurs, not actors, and gave them the space to reflect on their own journey. The narrative shifted from celebrating outcomes to acknowledging the process behind them.

The tone was intentionally honest and introspective, balancing vulnerability with strength. Not glorifying failure, but recognizing it as an essential part of building something meaningful.

Approach

We created an integrated campaign centered around real entrepreneur stories. Visually, they became the heroes of the campaign through a series of bold portraits, each framed by a distinctive red square, a simple but recognizable BRD cue. Each portrait was paired with a single keyword reflecting the entrepreneur’s core drive.

The films captured the emotional reality behind entrepreneurship, reframing success as something built on doubt, risk, and persistence.

The campaign rolled out across multiple touchpoints, from video and web to social, paid media, print, and OOH.

By shifting the conversation from success to failure, BRD positioned itself not just as a financial partner, but as a team that understands what it really takes to build a business.
