In 2023, Mollie launched more features, products, and integrations than ever before. The focus was clear: drive revenue, increase conversion, and support merchants and partners in their growth journey.

The challenge was to bring all those developments together into one cohesive narrative, without turning it into a list of updates. It had to feel human, energizing, and true to the brand.

Challenge

We treated the wrap-up not as a recap, but as a story. Instead of stacking achievements, we focused on momentum, showing how each launch, integration, and milestone contributed to something bigger.

Visually, the system was designed to be modular. A carousel structure allowed us to zoom in and out of key moments, creating a flexible framework where new achievements could be added seamlessly over time without breaking the narrative. Clean compositions met dynamic animation, reinforcing progress and scale while keeping the tone accessible and human.

Approach

The final video brought together key launches, integrations, and milestones within a modular carousel system designed to evolve over time. The zoom in and out structure allowed each achievement to stand on its own, while still contributing to a bigger narrative of growth.

This project was a heart warming example of cross-team collaboration, beautifully animated in-house and art directed by yours truly. Enjoy!
